Badge Scanning

Access to the congress is only possible with your personal name badge. Please always wear your badge!  A handling fee of CHF 80,- will be charged to print a new name badge.

Catering

Participants will be provided with appropriate refreshments throughout the congress to ensure a comfortable and supportive environment during the programme.

Certificates

You will be able to download the certificate indicating the CME credits in the evening of the last day of the congress (Friday, 12 June 2026). An email including the link for the download will be sent to you the same day.

CME Scanning

To receive CME points, proof of attendance is required. Therefore, all participants must scan their badges at least once daily to provide evidence of attendance. Credits will be awarded for each day with a valid scan. Scan stations are available at the Main entrance / Registration area of the congress center. One scan per day is sufficient.

Childcare

The congress does not offer childcare. If you are in need of one, please contact one of the day care center in the area.

Cloakroom

A staffed cloakroom is available for your convenience to store coats and bags.
You will find it at the main entrance, on the ground floor, right next to the registration area.
The cloakroom is free of charge for delegates.

Getting there

Congress Center Basel is conveniently accessible by public transport and car. We suggest the following options to get to the venue:
Preferred: Train: Congress Center Basel is just a short five-to-ten-minute ride on public transport from all three major stations: Basel SBB (Switzerland), Basel SNCF (France), and Badischer Bahnhof (Germany).
Car: The Messe and Congress Center is directly accessible via the A2 motorway. Take the “Messe” exit, which leads straight to the Messe Basel
Plane: The EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg is just a 15-minute drive from the Messeplatz. Alternatively, bus line 50 connects the airport directly to Basel SBB/SNCF station, where tram lines 1 and 2 will take you straight to Messe Basel.

Exhibition / Exhibition access

The SSC/SSCS-SSP/SSTS Joint Annual Meeting exhibition is restricted to healthcare professionals. The general public (including patients, children and members of the lay press) are forbidden by European and national law to enter a space where prescription medicines are being promoted. Please ensure your badge is clearly visible to all exhibitors so that they can greet you accordingly. Entry to industry organised symposia is at the discretion of the company organising the session.

By entering the SSC/SSCS-SSP/SSTS Joint Annual Meeting Congress (event/programme), you acknowledge that photography, audio, and video recording may take place throughout the event. Your entry constitutes consent to being photographed and/or recorded, as well as to the use, publication, exhibition, and reproduction of such material for promotional purposes, including advertising, websites, social media, and other communications by the organising societies. Images, photographs, and videos may also be used to promote future SSC/SSCS-SSP/SSTS events and related activities.

Congress organisers cannot accept liability for personal injuries sustained, or for loss or damage of property belonging to conference participants, either during, or as a result of the meeting. Please check the validity of your own insurance.

Language

The official language of the SSC/SSCS-SSP/SSTS Joint Annual Meeting 2026 is English, and no translation will be provided. In addition, French and German may also be used during the programme.

Posters / e-Poster Exhibition

Accepted ePosters will be available in the ePoster Exhibition Area located in Hall 4.0 on the ground floor. The exhibition is organised by theme into clearly identifiable pulmonary and cardiology sections. All ePosters can be accessed at any station throughout the entire congress.

Poster walk

Several e-Poster Walk Sessions take place for discussions and Q&A. Please see the detailed programme here.

For enhanced sound quality a dedicated sound system is installed per e-Poster walk. Bring your mobile phone and earphones, scan onsite the QR code of your selected poster walk session and listen to the presentations via your own device, while watching them on the local e-Poster screens.

Presentations won’t be played through regular speakers - only through the audio system directly to your device.

SCOT Speed Mentoring
