Dear colleagues,

It is our pleasure to welcome you to Basel on the occasion of the Joint Annual Meeting 2023 of the Swiss Society of Cardiology, the Swiss Society of Cardiac Surgery, the Swiss Society of Pneumology and the Swiss Society of Thoracic Surgery from 21-23 June 2023.

Together with the scientific committees we prepared a programme that we trust catches the most exciting new developments, putting a focus on the congress theme "The heart and lung in the digital age". As usual, the programme will offer main lectures, workshops, free communications selected from abstracts, as well as poster sessions.
